VISITING TEAMS & SPECTATOR PROTOCOLS

City of Surrey Facility Guidelines 

• Masks are mandatory for people 5 years and older regardless of vaccination status and must be worn inside all Parks, Recreation and Culture facilities, except when exercising

• User groups will be allowed to enter the facility and assigned dressing rooms thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of their booking and must leave the dressing room within thirty (30) minutes after their booking.

• Spectators will be permitted into the facility five minutes prior to the ice time and must exit immediately following the ice time.

North Surrey Sport Ice Complex
• Rinks 1 & 3 are limited to 50 spectators, and require vaccination passport screening for spectators.
• Rink 2 are limited to 125 spectators and require vaccination passport screening if spectators exceed 50.

Surrey Sport & Leisure
• Rinks 1 & 2 are limited to 50 spectators, and require vaccination passport screening for spectators.
• Rink 3 are limited to 125 spectators and require vaccination passport screening if spectators exceed 50.

Excellent Ice
• Limited to 1 spectator per skater and require vaccination passport screening of all spectators.

Visiting Team Manager or Safety Person
• Coordination with the home team manager for arenas that are limited to 50 spectators does not exceed the limit.
• With arenas that exceed 50 spectators vaccinations are verified and confirmed with the home team manager.
• Ensure that all visiting team spectators are wearing masks inside the facilities.
